Description
I have lovingly converted this sterling Silver panel of St Pauls Cathedral from an original vintage souvenir bracelet. The scene is depicted in light relief and has a delicate trace of wreath edging.
Hallmarked in 1945 it commemorates the end of the war and a time of great celebration in London. This sweet piece would likely have been a special present for soldier to give to a sweetheart back home. Looks great on its own or stacked with other pieces.
AGE: Vintage 1945 and modern chain. Please note that this panel does not bear the date letter (as that was only stamped on one of them) but has the sterling lion and London Town mark.
SIZE: Panel measures 3cm x 2cm. Chain is total of 19″ long but can be worn shorter.
MATERIAL: Panel is vintage Sterling silver (hallmarked) with an original chromed finish. Modern chain is sterling silver (stamped 925).
CONDITION: Gorgeous vintage condition. I have converted this from a bracelet so the panel has two small patches at very edge where I have removed loops and filed them smooth. These are not visible when worn. Panel has very light abrasions commensurate with age. Chrome finish is in good condition. I have not soldered the chain loops closed (as this would affect the chrome finish).
SHIPPING: Free inside the UK and to the U.S. – American buyers please note that you’re responsible for any customs / import charges if they get applied at the border.
