I offer a range of secure payment methods and layaways (payment by instalment) to help you spread the cost.
LAYAWAY DETAILS:
- I offer layaway up to a maximum of three months on items to help spread the cost of items.
- If you are interested in layaway on any item please get in touch with me and I can send through details of the layaway terms and conditions.
Shipping & Customs
Free shipping on all jewellery sales to the U.S. and UK.
I ship from Nottingham, England and aim to despatch within 2-3 working days.
All jewellery is thoughtfully gift wrapped and securely packaged. Outer packaging is kept discrete and unbranded.
SHIPPING & CUSTOMS DETAILS
- I use a variety of shipping methods depending on the value and location of the buyer.
- I use economy tracked shipping to ensure I keep costs to the customer as low as possible , but if an item is high value I will use quicker shipping for peace of mind.
- If you have a specific date by which you need an item please contact me before purchase to discuss shipping options.
- Without exception, all buyers outside the UK are responsible for any customs or import charges applied to your item by your home nation border authorities.
- Without exception, all buyers outside the UK are responsible for ensuring the import of your item does not breach any customs regulations of your home notation e.g. restrictions on corals, rubies, other precious metals and stones, or jewellery of specific origins. No refunds can be given for items refused entry into your home country.
Gemstones & Metals
I am a qualified Gemmologist so you can buy with confidence; but I am still only a small one-woman business so please take a look at this essential info!
GEMSTONES & METALS
- All items sold by LilleyBelleBijoux are carefully checked to identify both the gemstones and metals used.
- I am a qualified gemmologist with over 30 years experience in the antiques trade, however I only have access to home testing equipment not a full gemmological laboratory or retail grade metal testing machines.
- As such all products sold are on the basis of best available information and experience of the seller, not a 100% guarantee.
- If you believe a genuine error has been made in the description of any purchases you make from LilleyBelleBijoux please contact me asap so that I can try to resolve the situation. Thank you.
Returns & Refunds
Your satisfaction is my primary concern as I would like all my customers to be pleased with the product and service from LilleyBelle Bijoux.
RETURNS & REFUNDS DETAILS:
- Buyers must notify LilleyBelleBijoux of any intent to return an item within 14 calendar days of receipt.
- Buyers are responsible for returning items to LilleyBelleBijoux via tracked and insured mail.
- Please ensure your chosen carrier covers jewellery in their insurance policy – no refund can be given by LilleyBelleBijoux if your item is lost in transit on return to us.
- No refunds can be issued until the item is received back by LilleyBelleBijoux, in its original condition and without damage.
- On safe return of the item all refunds will be processed by the original payment method.
- Refunds will be processed for the original purchase prices LESS the original cost of postage via LilleyBelleBijoux and any return customs/import charges back to the UK.
- These deductions from the refund are made at cost price only, no additional charges are added.

Other FAQs
Do you offer ring sizing?
The majority of my rings can be re-sized, although some may need a jeweller used to working on antique and vintage pieces.
I’m afraid I don’t yet offer this service directly. Please contact me for advice if you unsure whether your favoured piece is sizeable.
Do you gift wrap?
All jewellery comes thoughtfully gift wrapped and the style varies by season. Larger pieces such as jewellery boxes will be wrapped carefully but not gift wrapped.
If you have any particular gift wrapping requirements please get in touch.
Do you have a physical store?
While I adore a good bricks and mortar store they do carry overheads that I cannot sustain as a sole trader.
I just sell online as it allows me to keep my running costs low and bring you beautiful pieces at better prices than traditional retail.
How do you care for the environment?
Buying antique and vintage jewellery is one of the best forms of recycling!
I am actively working towards making my packaging sustainably sourced, plastic free, and recyclable. I’m not 100% there yet, but I am working on it!

How should I care for my purchase?
The majority of my pieces are extremely wearable but some items do need special care. I always try to suggest special care guidance where needed.
As a general rule all jewellery should be removed for physical activity, not worn in water, immersed in liquids and avoid aerosols. Store in individual boxes to avoid damage.
