A striking mid-century modern opal ring; the vibrant black opal displaying strong blue / green colour flashes all set in a futuristic multipronged cluster setting to an elegant wide band.

A stunning statement piece this looks fabulous during the day but can definitely hold it’s own for your cocktail nights out! A great addition to any vintage jewellery collection.

MATERIAL: 9ct yellow gold (gold stamp slightly rubbed but acid tested)

SIZE: U.S. size 5.75 / UK size ‘L’. The opal itself measures 12mm x 9mm

CONDITION: Great vintage condition – the opal itself has a stunning range of colours and has been well protected by the triplet setting showing minimal wear. The claws do show some signs of wear so may need re-tipping in future if this ring is worn heavily (reflected in the price) but it will give many years of wear yet as a special occasion dress ring. Stone is secure and shank has a nice width to it.
