Special Release from my personal collection!
A striking antique buckle bangle; finely modelled in sterling silver with beautifully hand engraved foliate buckle details, and finished in a warm gold tone finish to give the look of antique gold. This beautifully made piece shows all the hallmarks of lovely Victorian craftsmanship, but it doesn’t carry the price tag of a solid gold piece.
The buckle has long been a popular motif in jewellery and was particularly fashionable in the Victorian era, symbolising steadfast love.
A great piece to wear on its own as a statement or stacked with other pieces; a really versatile addition to any antique jewellery collection.
AGE: Victorian c.1880s
