A very handsome and finely modelled antique fob; beautifully crafted in the round as St. George in full armour on horseback, slaying the dragon with his lance. The scene sits atop a geometric intaglio seal base bearing the monogram ‘CV’ or ‘VC’.
Although a popular image in painting during the Victorian era, finding him depicted in jewellery is harder, especially as nicely modelled as this one. He would likely have adorned a gentleman’s fob chain to accessorize a pocket watch; but today he’s equally wearable in his own right as a statement pendant. The perfect talisman to help protect you in these uncertain times!

EIGHT: 17.8grams – a lovely weighty piece for its size
CONDITION: Lovely antique condition – modelling is crisp and nicely done with minimal signs of wear. Only very tiny flaw is some slight pitting to the base of the fob (see last photo) but this is original to the piece. Chain and box are for illustration only but this piece will come beautifully gift wrapped.
