Description

A charming silver butterfly brooch; beautifully enamelled with translucent guilloche enamel in shades of purple with highlights of blue and green. This example is a particularly lovely larger size and the enamel work is finely done, indicative of these earlier pieces.

Would look great on both summer or winter outfits!

SIZE: Measures 5.3cm x 2.5cm

MATERIAL: Sterling silver (stamped) and guilloche enamel

CONDITION: Great antique condition. Enamel work is perfect with no chips or cracks, only very lightest surface wear commensurate with age. Silver brooch with base metal pin, likely original. Simple hook clasp is secure. Works better on a slightly heavier weight like cotton or a sweater than for something like silk.
