Art Deco Carre Square Cut Paste 9ct Gold Eternity Ring c.1920s

Description

Stunning original Art Deco eternity ring; with gorgeous colourless carre-cut stones and engraved side details. These rings were made to replicate high end jewellery of the time and so this has bright colourless stones to imitate diamonds and the square shape being a difficult cut to make and set.

This beautiful original Art Deco piece is a fraction of the price of real diamonds and platinum, and it is unusual to find one in this larger size! This is a really stylish piece, which looks great on it’s own or stacked with other items.

ERA: c.1920s

MATERIAL: 9ct Yellow Gold (stamped 9CT to side) and paste glass

SIZE: U.S. 6.5 / UK N – The band measures 3mm across. Please note this ring is not sizeable.

CONDITION: Great antique condition – all stones present and secure with only minor wear commensurate with age visible at magnification. Engraved detailing to the sides shows some slight wear but still nicely visible. I have not over polished this as I prefer the slightly softer patina of antique gold, but this could be done by a jeweller if desired.

Box is for illustration only but this piece will come beautifully gift wrapped.

CARE GUIDANCE: Whilst this is a very wearable ring it is still an antique so should be worn with care – no immersion in liquids, swimming, showering, hand washing etc.
