A charming original Victorian ring; modelled as a navette shape in warm rose gold and studded with rose cut Bohemian Garnets in rich shades of orangey-red.
Bohemian garnet jewellery became particularly popular during the Georgian and Victorian eras as when rose cut, it looks captivating by candlelight. Bohemian garnets were mined in what is now called modern day Czechoslovakia and are highly prized for the rich orangey-reds which this ring features.
A great addition to any antique jewellery collection.

CONDITION: Lovely antique condition – the stones are all original hand cut in rose cut shape so lovely variation of facets. Solid gold shank and shoulders. Shank is a fair thickness for the age with light signs of wear.
CARE GUIDANCE: This is a dress ring rather than everyday piece so recommended only for occasional wear. Do not immerse in liquids.
