Description
A striking and beautifully made vintage cocktail ring; featuring a deep cushion of carved tigers eye and pave diamonds set in a ‘tartelette’ style, to a high double shoulder mount all in buttery 14ct yellow gold.
This incredible ring is a complex, well made piece and extremely redolent of the pieces being made by Wander in France, as well as Kutchinsky, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Cartier during this era. Alas I haven’t been able to find out the exact maker but it bears a full mark ‘JL’ and a London import make for 1979.
A fabulous statement piece for any lover of vintage cocktail jewellery, without the eye watering price tag!
