Description

A gorgeous colour-change solitaire ring; the classically cut synthetic sapphire displays a beautiful shift between pinkish purple in candescent (indoor) lighting, moving to a captivating XXX in daylight. The stone is unusual in it’s large size (11mm diameter / 4carats) and being set in a lush heavy quality rose gold mount with scrolling shoulders.

These synthetic-sapphires are often referred to as ‘Alexandrite’ but the true chemical composition of these laboratory grown stones is corundum (sapphire) hence it’s more accurate to describe it as synthetic-sapphire, simulating Alexandrite (which has a natural chemical composition of chrysoberyl).

This makes an eye-catching and very wearable pop of colour as a ‘right-hand’ or cocktail ring; but it would equally make a gorgeous vintage proposal ring if you know you’re girl loves retro pieces but want to choose the ‘big’ rock together!

A great addition to any collection.
