Art Deco Silver Enamel Fob Pendant – Birmingham 1935

£115

In stock

Description

A handsome and heavy weight Art Deco fob pendant; shield shaped with blue enamel chequered field to one half, and the other red guilloche enamel side with three scimitar swords, all underneath a scrolling banner with the initials W.E.H.A.

The reverse is hand engraved ‘Allied Suppliers – Miss W.Harvey -1936’ so this could possibly have been a sporting prize medal for a company field day. I have tried to find out more about Allied Suppliers, Miss Harvey, and W.E.H.A and am drawing somewhat of a blank unfortunately. However, this is still a beautiful quality piece and it would make a stylish addition to any watch chain or necklace today.
