A striking antique silver necklace; featuring links press moulded by hand to imitate the look of old cut diamonds. The multiple drops makes this a stunning fringe collarette. This style of silver necklace is particular to the Normandy region of France from around the 1870s, making this a wonderful addition to any antique jewellery collection.
Looks great on its own or layered with other pieces and it can take you from jeans and a tee to a little black dress!

CONDITION: Great antique condition; the links are hand press moulded to imitate old cut diamonds and it is substantially made in a lovely weight of silver. No splits or tears to the silver. This would likely have had a simple hook clasp originally and it has been sympathetically replaced at some point in its life with a silver bolt ring clasp; which is secure.
