A really super, large galleon brooch; finely wrought in silver with niello and hand engraved detailing to highlight the billowing sails and fluttering flag at the top of the mast.
Galleons were a popular motif in the 1920s and 1930s, and this is a particularly lovely example; I haven’t seen one this large or nicely done. Makes a great statement piece on any jacket; a lovely addition to any vintage jewellery collection!

CONDITION: Beautiful vintage condition; niello is perfect. Hand engraving is nicely done. Simple hook clasp is secure.
