An adorable and rare antique glass charm pendant. Beautifully modelled as a frightened cat in clear frosted glass. The “scaredy-cat” became a popular graphic motif in France from around 1890/1900.

This lovely example is a rare charm pendant and is likely Czech glass from between 1900-1920.

A great addition to any antique charm collection.

ERA: c.1900-1920

ORIGIN: European – likely Czech

MATERIAL: Frosted glass and white metal (likely silver but untested)

SIZE: 2cm high not including bale

CONDITION: Excellent condition – no chips or cracks. Lovely features. Bale is secure. Please not jump ring is open for ease of adding to a chain but recommend having it soldered closed for wearing.
