A really striking matching pair of bangles; beautifully well made they’re inset with a mosaic of shimmering geometric Tigers Eye, all in heavy sterling silver. Its so nice to have a matching limited edition pair, offering endless opportunities to where alone, together, or stacked with other pieces. Great to mix and match with different eras and metals.
ERA: Contemporary Vintage c.1990s (Stamped with CII indicating more contemporary Mexican silver) They’re laser numbered for limited edition 0725 and 3283 of 6000. As the Mexican marks on one are stamped and the other are lasered I believe someone may have bought one, and than loved it so much she bought another to match slightly later – isn’t that so cool!
MAKER: Attributed to Roberto Salazar (I believe the scrolling ‘S’ makers mark is his).

MATERIAL: Tigers Eye and Sterling Silver
SIZE: Internal measurements are 6.5 x 5.5cm. Externally they measure 8.5x8cm and approx12mm wide.
WEIGHT: 126.6 for the pair – substantial, well made pieces.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition – some light signs of wear commensurate with age but these could be buffed out if you wanted a high polish shine. No chips or cracks to the Tigers Eye. Only one ‘flaw’ that’s only really noticeable on close inspection; each of the bangles has taken a little knock to one side resulting in a slight depression to the silver (one a little larger than the other – see last photo). This was likely as a result of too much fun at a cocktail party and during wear is not particularly noticeable as you’re too distracted by the fabulous mosaic work. Reflected in the pricing.
