A pretty single stone Victorian Paste pendant; the old mine cut stone in a beautiful silver flower surround on delicate gold chain. The paste stone is a chunky old mine cut so with foil backing that really catches the light. This piece has been professionally and sympathetically converted from an antique stick pin with addition of a solid gold loop. Makes a lovely statement on its own but also perfect for layering with other pieces.
ERA: Flowerhead is Victorian c1880 – with modern solid gold loop addition.
MATERIAL: Silver and paste. Loop is 9ct gold.
SIZE: Pendant is 12mm diameter. Stone is 6mm diameter.
CONDITION: Good antique condition. Foil backing to setting is still bright and sparkly. Minimal abrasions to the paste commensurate with age. No chips or cracks. No dents to the rounded back of the stone. Conversion has been professionally done and is secure.
