Gorgeous Victorian Scottish silver brooch set with malachite. Beautiful quality and great design statement. The Victorians developed a huge love affair with Scotland and stone set jewellery and this piece dates from the period when the quality of work was at its peak.

MATERIAL: Silver (unhallmarked but tested) and malachite.
SIZE: 5.5 x 5cm
CONDITION: Lovely antique condition. The stones are well set and secure. Central stone has a fissure but this does not detract from beautiful striations. The bottom two crescents may have been repaired but these are old and have been done well (see detail photo). All stones are set flush. Simple ‘C’ clasp is secure. Please examine photos carefully – more available on request.
