Description

A charming original Victorian silver pendant; modelled naturalistically as an acorn in 3D with beautifully embossed detail to the finial cap.

The Victorians loved nature and particularly when combined with symbolism; the acorn represented luck, prosperity, and growth so was a popular motif at the time.

This makes a really elegant addition to any jewellery collection.

ERA: Victorian c1880s

SIZE: 2cm tall not including jump ring.

WEIGHT: 1.4grams

CONDITION: Great antique condition – this is a hollow piece but has no dents or splits to the silver. The modelling is crisp. The jump ring is not soldered close in case you want to add this to a charm bracelet. Jump ring has a few marks commensurate with age. Would recommend a larger chain or having the ring soldered closed if you plan on wearing as a pendant. Chain for illustration only. Video available on request.
