Description
A striking Native American ring; featuring a wonderfully organically boulder turquoise in vibrant green with inky black matrix marbling. Set to a handmade silver mount with trifurcated split shoulders and lovely wide shank. This stunning piece is such a statement on; it looks great on its own or stacked with other rings. Perfect addition for any vintage jewellery collection.
ERA: Vintage c.1940s
ORIGIN: Native American – possibly Navajo tribe
MAKERS MARK: A stylised ‘X’ to the reverse of the ring that almost looks like crossed oars. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to ascertain which maker this is.
MATERIAL: Natural boulder matrix turquoise and silver.
SIZE: Head of ring is 2cm long x 1.5cm at wides. U.S ring size 7.5 / UK size ‘P’
CONDTION: Great vintage condition. The turquoise is a beautiful organic boulder shape and has natural markings; no chips or cracks. The rustic silver mount is simply made; the stone rocks just a little in the setting but it is very secure. Some light signs of wear to the setting, commensurate with age. I have only lightly polished this piece as I prefer the patina on vintage silver but this could be polished up brighter if desired.
Box for display only – will come beautifully gift wrapped in a modern box.
CARE GUIDANCE: To protect the stone this should not be worn in liquids or sprayed with aerosols / perfumes.
SHIPPING: Free inside the U.K and to the U.S. – American buyers please note that you’re responsible for any customs or import charges that might be applied by the USA border.
