A stunning Georgian ‘black-dot’ paste navette brooch; the double row of sparkling old cut paste twinkle beautifully, particularly in candle-light and are set in a glorious heavy silver mount.

This would originally have been a buckle but at some point in the Victorian era it’s been converted into a brooch. A super wearable piece to add great sparkle to your winter knits!

ERA: Georgian c1780s – later converted into a brooch

MATERIAL: Old cut paste glass set in silver. Pin conversion appears to be silver-gilt.

SIZE: 5 x 3.4cm

CONDITION: Gorgeous condition – pastes are bright and sparkly with even colour. Setting is solid and secure. Pin conversion is simple but well done and secure.

CARE GUIDANCE: Do not immerse in liquids or spray with aerosols.
